Accompanied or not by accessories, the chignon is a hairstyle is widespread in very varied forms. But how can you create a successful quick bun worthy of the red carpets without being a hairdressing expert? Here are a few ideas, especially for beginners, for a 100% amazing result.
Make a bun with three twists
To do this, separate the hair with your fingers, at the level of the skull, and make three equal sections. By simply passing the fingers through, you get a tousled hair result, but you can still brush the hair before dividing it. Then roll the right section clockwise to the end to obtain a mini bun. Use pins to hold it in place, release a few strands so that the whole thing doesn't look too tight and pinch to get a tousled yet chic look. All that's left to do is to roll up the two remaining sections using the same method as the first section.
Making a quick braided bun
First of all, the hair must be brushed to remove knots. Then, you have to gather them at the desired place of the head in a ponytail, a rubber band will be perfect to tie them. Then, you have to weave the hair up to the tip by tying the end of the braid with an elastic band. In particular, there are two techniques for braiding hair.
The first method consists of combining the hair at the nape of the neck, braiding it by tying only two of the three sections of hair without tying them too tightly.
The second method consists of separating the hair into three equal parts. Pass the right section over the middle one, do the same with the left section, also pass over the middle one. Repeat this action until all the hair is braided.
The fishtail braid and the single braid are ideal for a successful quick bun. All that's left to do is roll up the braid and hold the bun with 4 to 8 hair pins or an elastic band (without tightening it too much), leaving the untied part as it is for styling.
Making a simple and quick bun
There's no reason why you shouldn't brush your hair first. Nevertheless, brushing is optional. To do so, the hair must be gathered together by holding it with your hands. Then, by untangling the hair with your fingers, you get a tousled bun. Then, they must be gathered at the top of the head, producing a ponytail, and at the nape of the neck for a low bun. All that remains is to roll up the ponytail once the hair has been gathered, holding it in place with a rubber band. That's all you need to do for a quick bun.
